I'm very proud of my studio. I designed it after Studio B from my school in Ohio, which has all of the tools I need to do a tremendous job for my clients.
My studio is driven by the very powerful industry standard ProTools 7 HD2 Accel system with lots of horsepower to do some amazing things for your project. My ProTools runs through the powerful Mac G5 computer.
My mixing board is the state-of-the-art Focusrite Control 24 made exclusively for ProTools. My interface is the Digidesign 96i, which allows me to record up to sixteen tracks in one pass. Through my ProTools system, however, I can record up to 96 tracks for one song, giving me lots of room to do some big projects, even musical scores for film work.
My nearfield monitors are the Studio Event Precision 8" speakers with a frequency response ranging from 35Hz to 20K. I also use two KRK Rokit 5" speakers to hear what your recording will sound like in a car stereo or small home stereo. I use a KRK 10" sub to manage the low frequencies making sure the lows stay in balance. The speakers are all balanced with a dbx powered speaker optimizer to make sure we mantain a flat frequency in my control room.
I use AKG and Shure and MXL microphones, dynamic and condenser mics for great sounding vocal and instrument recordings.
I have some great plug-ins from Digidesign and Waves software and Propellerhead to do some real amazing things, including tune up a vocal that is out of pitch.
"How great to have your children develop a love for music and share in your joy and even be involved with you and your business. Katie has a great ear and did extremely well in school, and my son Kris is one of the best drummers around who plays on several of my sessions for clients."
