Michael Stosic Music Productions: About Us
Michael Stosic started out as an artist in the Seattle, Washington area. He produced his first album, played all of the musical parts, did the musical arrangements and released the album under his own label.
The recording became an instant hit in the Northwest area and Michael's song "Surrender" won the Seattle KCMS Peoples Choice Award.
After realizing the expense of going to a large recording studio, Michael purchased his own recording equipment and started producing his own albums out of his home.
Other artists started asking Michael to produce their recordings too and so Michael Stosic Music Productions was created.
After producing music in the Seattle area for fourteen years, producing albums and demos for lots of artists, Michael and family moved back home to Reno, Nevada.
Realizing all of the changes taking place in the recording industry over the past several years with new technology and new recording techniques, Michael went back to recording school in 2007.
He graduated with honors at the Recording Workshop School of Music and Audio Production based in Chilicothe, Ohio and then opened his new studio in Reno, Nevada in 2008.
Michael's new studio in Reno reflects the new equipment he was trained on in Ohio. All state-of-the-art equipment.
Michael Stosic in Ohio with legendary record producer Bill Halverson. Bill produced Jimi Hendrix, Crosby Stills and Nash, Eric Clapton and Cream.
Michael was honored to spend time with Bill and he learned much from the great Mr Halverson.
