Michael Stosic Music Ministries

"I was lucky to have grown up in a Christian family. I remember going to church at a very young age. I loved Sunday School, and I especially loved hearing the singing in the main services."

Years later, while in high school, Michael's family helped organize "Sierra Ministries." They would bring in Christian/Gospel concerts to Reno, and most of the artists would stay at Michael's home in Reno.

 

"I remember meeting Andrea Crouch and the Disciples, 2nd Chapter of Acts, and even Pat Boone. That was my introduction into Christian music."

 

Michael is now a licensed minister through the River Christian Church in Reno Nevada.

 

Today, Michael Stosic has a renewed sense of God's calling on his life. Recently he and his wife Joannie went to Zimbabwe where Michael ministered in churches around the country. He and Joannie visited an AIDS orphanage getting to meet and spend time with those very dear people. "These people have nothing yet they have everything the way they praise the Lord in the circumstances they are in."

That experience led Michael to re-evaluate his calling and the purpose for which God has blessed him with his musical gifts.  Michael is called as a musical missionary to minister in Africa.

Michael Stosic seeks to bring to the people of South Africa, God's words of encouragement and comfort through the sharing of songs of worship and praise, adoration and proclamation through the artistic expression of the performing arts, and workshops. Mission Statement PDF
